The exhaust temperature of a heating furnace should generally not be lower than the dew point temperature, to prevent condensation water from causing corrosion to the equipment. The dew point temperature is usually above 130°C; therefore, even if the sulfur content is 0, it is not recommended that the flue gas temperature be below 130°C. If it drops to 50 degrees or lower, it may cause serious condensation and corrosion problems. .
