According to China Petroleum Network (reporter: Hou Min), on November 17, the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Department of Changqing Supervision Company under Sichuan Qingdao Drilling carried out telephone consultations with various grassroots units to further advance the special rectification initiative aimed at ensuring thorough inspections, accurate reporting, and effective corrective actions. With a zero-tolerance attitude, efforts were made to curb fraud and irregularities in the field of supervision, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of safety supervision work. This special rectification effort covers all of the company’s supervision sites, the fields where supervision takes place, as well as the entire process of internal management. It aims to effectively address issues such as inaction, improper actions, and reckless behavior on the part of supervisors. By focusing on problems and taking decisive action to eliminate these flaws, it seeks to firmly uphold the first line of defense for safe production. To ensure that the corrective measures are effectively implemented, the company classifies potential violations into three levels: \"mild,\" \"moderate,\" and \"severe.\" Corresponding penalties include criticism and performance deductions, warnings up to severe reprimands, and demotions; the individuals involved are subject to these sanctions, while the unit’s supervisors and top leaders are also held accountable to ensure that responsibilities at all levels are fulfilled. This special rectification initiative aims to curb the trend of fraud, strengthen the sense of responsibility among all employees, prevent potential hazards from going unnoticed, and ensure safety at the workplace. At present, various units have ensured full coverage and comprehensive implementation of the rectification efforts through methods such as specialized training, case analysis, and the signing of responsibility commitment letters. Next, the company will continue to strengthen the outcomes of these corrective actions, ensuring that supervision records are accurate and traceable, that potential risks are properly addressed, and that accidents and incidents are reported in accordance with regulations, thereby providing a solid foundation for the company’s safe, healthy, and high-quality development.
