Strengthening Defense through Training, Enhancing Capabilities through Learning – China News Service. On November 21, a specialized training course aimed at improving fire safety management skills was successfully completed in Xining by Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. Twenty-five key participants from various production units of the company returned to their posts equipped with practical skills and management strategies to contribute to safety efforts. The 5-day training is centered around the core principle of \"putting the people first and life first,\" focusing on the transition from \"I need safety\" to \"I want safety\" and \"I can ensure my own safety.\" It is not only a targeted opportunity for skill development but also a deep transformation of mindsets. Through systematic empowerment, the professional competence, level of refined management, and practical emergency response capabilities of the company’s fire safety management team have been significantly enhanced, thereby establishing an impregnable \"fire safety firewall\" for the company during its critical stages of development. It is reported that this training adopts an innovative \"four-in-one\" intensive approach that combines centralized lectures, case studies, hands-on practice, and comprehensive assessments, with a team of first-class registered fire engineers being invited to tailor the courses specifically for this purpose. Taking into account the uniqueness of salt lake production processes and their potential risks, seven key modules have been carefully designed: risk identification and analysis in crowded areas, systematic inspection of fire hazards and preventive measures at the source, operation and evaluation of fire monitoring equipment, proper selection and use of fire extinguishers, tactics for combating incipient fires, and emergency response procedures for hazardous operations. These modules cover all the essential aspects of a company’s fire safety management. During the training, the participants devoted themselves wholeheartedly to learning. The case study sessions took into account the actual conditions in the workshops, allowing for the sharing of experiences and the solving of problems, thereby deepening understanding through intellectual exchanges ； At the practical training site, fire-fighting equipment operation skills are refined repeatedly until standard muscle memory is developed. “An immersive teaching approach that combines theoretical foundations with practical training helps learners make the transition from simply understanding and mastering concepts to being able to use them effectively. Strict attendance monitoring throughout the course, along with the results of the final assessment, showed that all participants achieved an excellent level of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Taking this training as an opportunity, the Emergency Rescue Center of Salt Lake Co., Ltd. will establish a closed-loop long-term mechanism featuring \"concept guidance—practical training—result implementation—continuous improvement.\" It will continue to increase investment in fire safety, strengthen the foundation for safety, and use robust fire safety capabilities to safeguard the company’s high-quality development.
