As the title suggests, for some reason, the project manager often interferes in process design, equipment selection, and equipment technical validation, without considering the successful completion of the project as a priority. Even after reporting this issue to the leader of our design department, the project manager continues to interfere excessively. Has anyone encountered such a situation?
Money is the root of trouble; it leads to conflicts of interest. It’s a non-standard product, right? When preparing the initial budget, the project manager will definitely get in touch with the supplier; it’s all due to interests at play.
The water is very deep; we little ones can’t figure it out.

This phenomenon occurs, especially among certain senior PMs in companies – individuals with extensive networking skills, long experience, and the ability to handle everything. For such individuals and phenomena, efforts should be made to prevent interference across different business areas (responsibilities) through procedures and processes, and to eliminate loopholes through established systems.

No pain, no gain – those with high competence are willing to put in extra effort for a while, but they can’t stay \"foolish\" forever; those with lower competence certainly can’t do that, especially project managers who have a strong sense of cost awareness. How is that possible?
