The reaction temperature for pre-hydrogenation is low; if a distillation step is employed first, the liquefied gas components are generally removed prior to hydrogenation. As a result, little cracking occurs to produce liquefied gas during the pre-hydrogenation reaction. In this case, the stripping tower can operate in full reflux mode, and the hydrogen content in the dry gas at the top of the tower will be high (hydrogen dissolved in the oil!) ）
