What is the relationship between the tower pressure in the gas separation unit and the separation accuracy? Increasing the column pressure is equivalent to improving the tray efficiency, right? Thank you all!
It’s likely that the boiling points of the components have changed; at the same temperature, increasing the pressure raises the boiling point of the material, which leads to an increase in the purity of the product at the top of the tower, but a decrease in yield. It has nothing to do with the tray separation accuracy, right?
