Our company emphasizes that the heat source for the reboiler at the bottom of the analysis tower in the stabilization unit is 1.0 Mpa steam. There is a problem now: at the control valve for the steam entering the reboiler at the bottom of the absorption tower, there is a very loud noise caused by an excess amount of steam. The method of adjusting the limit of the manual valve in front of the control valve has been tried, but it had no effect ; I also tried limiting the flow through the branch manual valve from the 1.0 Mpa steam pipeline to the reboiler at the bottom of the distillation column, but that didn’t have any effect either ; For operation at full liquid level in the condensate tank, previously, when the bottom temperature of the tower was controlled by fully opening the steam control valve and adjusting the opening degree of the condensate tank level control valve, there was very little noise at the site. Now, I ask all fellow sea users to help resolve and improve this situation. Thank you! :handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake:handshake
Is it just loud noise where you are? Is there any vibration? If there’s no vibration, then it should be fine
It should just be the sound of steam passing quickly through the control valve; it’s not due to the restriction imposed by the upstream valve, right? Use the backflow valve to limit it. The vibration isn’t strong; it’s just the noise that’s loud.
Why not use a backflow valve for limitation?
The sound produced when the steam pressure decreases
Bro, we’re using the front valve; I’ll change it and give it a try when I get to work this afternoon! I hope it’s useful! ! !
Previously, it was the front valve that imposed a limit; I’ll try changing it to the back valve this afternoon
It’s normal to have some sound, but it’s abnormal if the sound is too loud.
Can you come up with a better plan?
It’s likely that the pressure downstream of the control valve is too low, which causes a rapid drop in pressure and thus fast flow of steam. We also have such valves, and they generate a lot of noise.
