Are wire meshes required for the manholes at the tower skirt? Is there any regulation regarding this? Could some expert give an explanation? Thank you.
Without this rule, it is presumably to prevent some people from climbing into manholes and having accidents there. Our office posts at the entrance and exit: No entry without permission!
That is also a confined space; although there are no specific regulations, from the perspective of intrinsic safety, measures should be taken to manage it and prevent anyone or anything from entering.

It’s probably similar to putting up a sign after turning off the power, in order to prevent people from entering restricted areas and ending up in danger
