Tower inlet control valve

There is a control valve at the inlet of our side-line stripping tower, and it is required to be as close to the tower inlet as possible. I’m not sure why; please help me out, everyone
Extraction involves a liquid bubble; static pressure is used to prevent the liquid from vaporizing through the control valve.
In our previous facility, the atmospheric distillation column also had control valves located between the side stream of the column and the stripping tower; these valves were used primarily to regulate the flow rate of the side stream, ensuring that the product from this stream met the required standards
What medium is it traveling on? Prevent fluid buildup? ~~
There is a liquid level difference of 10 meters from our control valve to the tower inlet, and this height should prevent the medium from vaporizing after passing through the control valve. If understood in that way by you, it’s also correct. Thank you
