Is there a liquid accumulation tray at the extraction tray location in the first catalytic cracking fractionation column?
That extraction port for backflow in Unit 1 draws the fluid directly into the pump; after heat exchange, it enters the tower, where the dry point of the diesel is controlled

It’s normal for there to be a fluid collection groove at the extraction port!

There are two types of oil collection tanks: the type with a downcomer and the fully extracted type. The circulation reflux at the top of the fractionation tower and the intermediate reflux extraction in catalytic cracking units belong to the type with a downcomer. In earlier designs, the intermediate reflux in the absorption towers of catalytic cracking units used the fully extracted type, but modern designs generally adopt the type with a downcomer instead.
Furthermore, regarding the full extraction hopper and the partial extraction hopper, these are related to the extraction of side-stream products; for example, in the fractionation tower of a catalytic cracking unit, light diesel is extracted. In earlier designs, extraction was done partially at the bottom while full extraction was used at the top, but in current designs, extraction is generally done fully at both the top and the bottom. This can be seen from the design for returning materials from the middle stage, and designs that include the extraction of heavy diesel also employ partial extraction.
