During the recent alkali replacement in the neutralization tower, there was one thing I couldn’t figure out: the loud noises that occurred inside the tower caused vibrations in the pipes, which could be felt. What’s suspicious is that when washing, too much water is used – the liquid level reaches almost 50, whereas it’s usually around 20. Could it be due to the oxygen content in the water? ? ? Could everyone please help analyze this?
The sound of an explosion inside the tower – where does that \"explosive\" noise coming from the tower come from? It seems to be caused by excess hydrogen in hydrogen chloride reacting with oxygen, and this occurs during the process of replacing the alkali in the neutralization tower; this indicates that oxygen is most likely introduced from the alkali addition system. Is there a possibility of air being drawn in into that alkali addition system? First, ensure the liquid level is proper; second, check if there’s anything wrong at the inlet – go and take a look!
