What material is used for the reboiler in the lean amine liquid regeneration tower?
Stainless steel 304 will do.
Ordinary carbon steel will do; you can ask the design institute. The additives used are not suitable, and 304 material also doesn’t work
When using carbon steel, the flow rate must be kept below 1.5 m/s; a corrosion inhibitor should be added, and the amine purification system must be properly operated.
We use 304 stainless steel, and it has been in use for 8 years without any leakage issues

Carbon steel resistant to hydrogen sulfide is used. There is a leak.
