In the case of optimizing diesel hydroprocessing, it is required that the diesel at the bottom of the distillation tower be above 62 degrees (0# automotive diesel). Teachers, how should this optimization be carried out? The main issue is determining the appropriate constraint conditions; the independent variable is obviously the amount of stripping steam used. There are two types of flash points available: D86 and the actual boiling point – which one should be chosen? I would appreciate some guidance from the teachers. Additionally, in diesel hydroprocessing, steam is supplied to the bottom of the tower, and there is no separate stripping tower
