For an exhaust gas alkaline scrubbing spray tower, is it better to use a gravity-fed automatic alkali dosing system or a diaphragm pump for adding alkali? Those with experience in this area of application, please share your insights. Thank you!

We use metering pumps for dosing, which can be operated manually or automatically. The advantage of gravity flow is its relatively low cost; other aspects are not comparable.
It’s a metering pump. . . That’s all there is.
