May I ask if the minimum diameter of a packed tower can be DN100?
What’s it for? A small testing device?
There is no problem with doing it; a segmented structure design with flange connections can be used
I agree; current technology can meet the requirements.
For an exhaust gas treatment unit with a gas flow rate of only a few dozen Nm3/h, a random-packed filler tower is planned to be used; however, the minimum diameter of such random-packed fillers is DN16, which does not meet the required ratio between the tower diameter and the filler diameter. Regular-packed fillers are considered as an alternative, but it is unclear whether regular-packed fillers can be made with a diameter of DN100
The smallest 50-tower I know of
It should be possible; I know people who have made small devices
It is completely feasible to use a filler tower with a diameter of DN100; the key is to select a filler type and size that are compatible with each other, such as small structured fillers used in laboratories or θ-net ring fillers with a size of 2–3 mm.
