For the normal operation of the reboiler in the distillation tower, the distillation tower itself serves as the heat source. Currently, due to an insufficient heat source, another reboiler needs to be put into use (with steam as the heat source). What is the reason why steam cannot be supplied?
1. Check whether the process flow is restored. 2. Check if steam is being supplied. 3. Check whether the control valves are functioning properly. 4. Check if there is pressure buildup in the condensate drainage path.......
The backflow condensate hydrophobic system may have high backpressure, or low steam pressure and low steam flow rate
First, check the steam valve pipeline to see if it is unobstructed; find a drain valve and open it to check, and ensure that the stem of the hand valve has not come loose. Check again whether the strainer is unobstructed. Personal opinion
Check to confirm that no blind plates are installed on each flange; Either the valve disc has fallen off. It’s possible in all cases
If there is a gas blockage, the heat path must first be cut off, and the heat exchanger needs to be put back into use. Activate the cold circuit first, then the hot circuit. .
During operation of the reboiler, even if it isn’t isolated, steam still belongs to the hot circuit; how can the cold circuit be activated first and then the hot circuit?
First figure out how to put the heat exchanger into use before thinking about this issue
