Feed rate issue in the hydrorefining distillation column

What are the consequences if the feed rate to the gasoline hydroprocessing unit increases? Poor distillation efficiency? Foam entrainment? Or what? How to modify a fractional distillation tower?
Is it excessive feeding over a long period of time, or in a short period?
Is the feed to the tower exceeding the design value? Is the heat source of the reboiler or reboiling furnace at its maximum limit? Is there any remaining headroom for backflow?
