Selection of internal support beams in towers

In large towers, planar truss beams are generally used; the cross-sections of these truss beams can be rectangular or T-shaped. Are there any circular tube-shaped ones used in actual projects?
This post was last edited by letitbe on 2018-4-19 at 17:18. For trusses made of round tubes, how can they be fixed to the pre-welded components using bolts? It’s quite a complicated task anyway. By rectangular shapes, you probably mean channel steel, right?
