Brief description of the process flow: The natural gas from Unit 1 and Unit 2 is initially separated in separator F111. It then enters the first stage compressor of the natural gas engine separator, where it is compressed; after that, it passes through the inter-stage cooler. It is further separated by separator F01A, with the gas phase going on to the second stage compressor for additional compression, followed by cooling in the aftercooler. Once again, it passes through separator F01A, while the liquid phase is sent to the feed point in the middle of the tower; After being dehydrated in the dryer, the gas phase undergoes heat exchange in the rich-poor heat exchanger H03, then goes to the evaporator for further heat exchange. The gas-liquid phase separation is carried out by the separator F03; the gas phase enters the upper part of the tower while the liquid phase goes to the middle part of the tower where it is split up. The gas at the top of the tower undergoes heat exchange in the rich-poor heat exchanger before being sent out via systems 1 and 2. The light hydrocarbons at the bottom of the tower are heated in a reboiler, after which they are stabilized and sent for storage and distribution ; The liquid between compressor stages passes through the sludge tank and is pumped to the water separation tank using a sludge pump. The liquid phases of F111 and F01 are delivered to the water separation tank directly by means of pressure differences. The light hydrocarbons in the water separation tank are pressurized and sent out using a light hydrocarbon transfer pump. The above is a brief overview of the process. Today, my supervisor asked me to come up with a plan for getting rid of the deethanizer tower. I’m seeking help from all the experts here – should such a plan be developed on paper? Does it meet production requirements?
Without knowing the composition of your raw materials and the material balance, it’s impossible to assess the process just by knowing the flow diagram
Sorry! Genuine novice: the raw material composition consists of natural gas C1-C5, with moisture content of less than 90% methane. Material balance rate – I probably don’t have it, as the workshop doesn’t conduct any measurements. All are transferred externally to another workshop for measurement. :(
