At present, scaling in ammonia evaporation towers is a long-standing problem in the soda ash industry; the addition of lime milk during the ammonia evaporation process causes scarring to form on the internal trays and walls of these towers. Upon analysis, over 99% of it is calcium sulfate. Now, apart from manual cleaning and cleaning with high-pressure water guns, are there any other good methods for removing it? I welcome everyone's suggestions.
