Sometimes the pressure change may be frozen, which may also have an impact. Let's see if this is the reason.
The fractionating tower and its rear pressure are controlled by the reaction through the pneumatic compressor system, including the large butterfly valve of the oil and gas line at the top of the tower, which is controlled by the reaction. You should first check whether the working condition of the pneumatic compressor system is normal. The large butterfly valve at the top of the tower is not usually used, but you should check whether there is any out-of-control phenomenon.
There is no butterfly valve or air compressor at the top of the tower, and the pressure of the nitrogen pipe network is normal.
It must not have been frozen, because it is like this before winter begins. The pressure gauge on the top of the tower may indicate a problem, but the trend is fine. It is the same as this one, and it will jump accordingly.
Look at your curve, check the pressure control valve. If the curve shows frequent and stable sudden changes, it is estimated that the control valve is stuck. The valve will not move at a small position, but suddenly moves at a slightly larger position. Compare the superposition of the control valve position and the pressure curve to determine whether the control valve is stuck.
