On November 22, 2018, the quench tower for the methanol-to-olefins unit, as well as the regenerator and olefin concentration units of the 600,000 tons per year MTO project in the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park, which was constructed by Sinopec Refining & Chemical Engineering Corporation’s Tenth Construction Company, were successfully installed. This marked the completion of the installation of all tower equipment for this project. This quench tower is the heaviest tower equipment in this project, weighing 180 tons and standing 30 meters tall. At present, the safety, quality, and progress of this project are all under control, with construction in various specialties advancing steadily, thus laying a solid foundation for achieving high-standard completion of the MTO project by the end of the year.
