Is the pressure in the absorption tower the pressure of the rich gas after being compressed by the compressor? How is the pressure in the absorption tower adjusted? Is it to adjust the pressure at the top of the reabsorption tower? Is the pressure in the analysis tower the same?
It is possible to monitor the fan speed or air intake volume
The compressor controls the pressure of the rich gas based on the amount of steam used, while the absorption tower and the stripping tower are regulated by the pressure from the reabsorption tower
Typically, the absorption tower is operated at low temperature and high pressure, while the desorption tower is operated at high temperature and low pressure; the operation depends on the specific setup
The operating pressure of the equipment always depends on the backpressure (i.e., the pressure in the downstream system). The gas supplied to the absorption tower, as you mentioned, is pressurized by a compressor; however, the exhaust pressure from this compressor is not necessarily the operating pressure of the tower. It is also necessary to consider whether there are control valves in the vapor pipeline leading out of the tower, or what the pressure is in the downstream equipment. The pressure control of the absorption tower can be achieved through the vapor outlet control valve (if available), and the same applies to the pressure control of the stripping tower, which can also be accomplished via the vapor outlet pressure regulator. It should be noted, however, that factors affecting the operating pressure of the distillation column also include the reboiler heat load and the reflux rate; pressure regulation should also take these factors into account as a whole
Thank you, my unit does not have control valves at the outlets of the absorption and desorption towers.
Is there a control valve at the outlet of the downstream equipment? It is difficult to adjust the pressure with manual valves. Are your air compressors reciprocating compressors? If it is a piston machine, it is more difficult to adjust the pressure.....
The pressure control method in the absorption tower is outlet control at the back end; everything else are factors that affect pressure – let it build up if necessary
