The internal components of the tower have not been determined yet. Is it okay to provide the data sheet for the pumps first?

For a set of refining units, the final design for the internal components of the towers has not been determined; the diameter and height of these towers are still to be decided. Under such circumstances, the design institute has provided all the data sheets for the pumps; could there still be many changes to these pumps?

Usually, this doesn’t happen; just make sure that the difference between Yang Cheng’s values isn’t too large (1 kg/cm2 = 10 m of pressure). For extra safety, it’s better to set Yang Cheng’s value slightly higher. Once the height of the tower is determined, if there is excess pressure, another option is to design the control valve CV to be larger in size
Generally, there are not many changes; the design of the internal components of the tower usually only affects its height. Once the processing capacity of the tower and the composition of the materials at its bottom and top are determined, the parameters related to pumps and motors remain more or less the same
Even if you place the order now, an additional calculation will still be needed once the tower dimensions are determined.
