In recent years, some factories have encountered the problem where excessive pressure of the flue gas at the inlet of the absorption tower leads to an overly fast rate of acid return, resulting in acid spilling over the edge of the tank. Of course, some users also added an inverted U-shaped acid seal, but the effect was still poor. So how should one effectively deal with the situation where acid is drawn back in too quickly? Theoretically, a flow-limiting valve can be designed by referring to the principle of the hydraulic automatic valves at the inlet and outlet of the circulation water pump. When the pressure in a suction tower increases, this flow-limiting valve will activate and increase the resistance appropriately, ensuring that the acid pipeline is filled with acid (without causing acid to accumulate inside the suction tower). Of course, it is also possible to install an automatic valve that is linked to the resistance in the suction tower and the level of liquid in the suction circulation tank; such a valve should open fully when the resistance in the suction tower suddenly increases or when the liquid level in the suction circulation tank drops significantly.
