Let’s clarify the order; it’s best to have one number per line. Is sequence 1 referring to the reflux tank or the feed point of the distillation tower?
Does “distillation column discharge” refer to the distillation column reflux line?

1 is the discharge from the distillation column condenser. 3 is the distillation column reflux

After blockage occurs, a pressure difference is created between the return chute and the outside environment. As a result, the pressure at the inlet of the return pump increases due to the negative pressure inside the tower and the hydrostatic head caused by the liquid level in the return chute. This leads to a decrease in the pump’s inlet pressure. When the net positive suction head available in the system is low, the pump may experience cavitation, which in turn reduces the flow rate at the pump outlet. This can cause the liquid level in the return chute to rise, since the negative pressure of the gas phase remains unchanged, as does the amount of condensate. As a result, the level of the return tank rises; it is not possible to operate in this manner for long periods, as it is harmful to the pump.
Under reduced pressure, the column pressure is primarily maintained by the vacuum system at the rear end. So the tower pressure will not change.
