The largest domestic production scale for Casalita is 1.2 million tons per tower, with the producing unit being Shanxi Jinmei Huayu, located in Zhoucun, Jincheng. The Dalian Rike RK-05 methanol catalyst is used. Driven in July 2018, and has passed the performance assessment.
Methanol synthesis is an exothermic reaction that produces steam as a by-product. Under normal conditions, 1 ton of steam is produced as a by-product per ton of methanol.
