The gases emitted from the incinerator still do not meet the standards after two stages of alkaline scrubbing; the substance that exceeds the limits is HCL. From a design perspective, it meets the standards, but in practice it does not.

Could you share, based on your experience, some practical improvement measures?
The most straightforward approach is to first increase the concentration of the alkaline solution, and try maintaining a high concentration of it; Next, try increasing the circulation rate. If neither of these solutions works, it indicates that your system is operating under overload or that the atomization effect of the alkaline cleaning spray is poor; in such cases, shutdown is necessary for corrective action
Increase the spraying area; Number of spray layers!
Check the atomization effect of the nozzle, and observe the changes in the pH of the circulating fluid over several days.
Theoretically, bases have a high efficiency in absorbing acidic gases; if the hydrogen chloride level is too high, it may be because the circulation volume is too low and does not meet the requirement for minimum saturation
Generally, if the HCl level is too high, it’s possible to first rule out certain factors to determine whether it’s caused by solid waste or waste liquids. The feed rate can be reduced slightly; however, wet acid removal methods are not very effective in this case. Modifications can be made, and basically, these two factors are the most likely causes of such an excessive level
When HCL levels are too high, it is necessary to test the content in the feed material and control the amount of feed supplied. For the exhaust gas, the concentration of the wet alkaline solution needs to be adjusted; another solution is to install a dry treatment system, which yields excellent results.
