We have just installed an Air Liquide air separation unit with argon and an internal compression process. The load on the oxygen-nitrogen products has now reached its limit, but the load on the crude argon column cannot be increased. FV1712 is set at 88%, yet the flow rate is only 70,000; the designed flow rate should be 84,000. As a result, the output of pure argon is low ; Moreover, it’s not possible to keep the oxygen content in the argon fraction very low; once it exceeds 92%, nitrogen blocking occurs. Could some expert help figure out what’s going on here?

If it is device commissioning for new equipment, it is best for the equipment manufacturer to carry out the adjustments. Because there are many cases where the argon does not meet the standards. As long as the remaining aspects are controlled in accordance with the process standards specified by the equipment, the rest can be left to the equipment manufacturer to handle. However, it is important to ensure that the product meets the required standards; it cannot exceed those limits. If it does, it will move into the argon-rich area and no longer be at the argon outlet, which will also result in a decrease in product output. For reference.
