For the methanol tower used by the user, there is slight leakage from the gaskets between the flanges; hot tightening under pressure (5 MPa, 240 degrees) is required, and our opinion is sought. Is this method of operation safe? Are there any standard regulations?
This owner’s HSE needs to be evaluated. However, if tightening is required, explosion-proof tools must be used.
