In liquid air separation, the liquid coming from the bottom of the argon purification tower is fed into the tank, and occasional blockages can occur. Do any of you have any good opinions or thoughts?
Occasional malfunctions may be caused by a fault in the drain valve actuator, liquid in the positive and negative sampling tubes of the level gauge, or air leakage. For reference.
Is the air returning from the argon tank storage vessel being recycled?
There is recycling; basically, either low or high pressure in the storage tank can cause poor liquid discharge, requiring on-site venting
What about the on-site insulation effect? Is the insulation poor in certain sections?
It occurs occasionally, which indicates that everything is fine under normal circumstances; in other words, the insulation and such should be functioning properly. I’ve encountered this situation myself: the liquid level in the argon tank was relatively low. After starting up the system, this phenomenon occurred; the temperature inside the tank seemed to be a bit high. As argon entered the tank, it evaporated rapidly, causing the tank pressure to rise. One had to find a way to reduce this pressure. On one occasion, even with all the argon recovery valves open, the pressure remained high; so I also opened the vent valve, allowing argon to enter the tank normally. It wasn’t until the next day that I closed the vent valve.
