At 11 a.m. on June 13, at the construction site of Huayi Industrial’s ethylene glycol plant in Guangxi, which is under EPC contracting by Donghua Technology, the second light-end removal tower was moved from east to west along Road No. 8 on a module truck. It carefully passed by the southeast corner of the gasification unit at intersection No. 13, then turned north and was successfully unloaded in the designated area on the north side of the EG plant. The light-end stripping tower is over 70 meters tall and weighs more than 230 tons; it is the tallest tower in this facility. The lifting of heavy equipment for the Guangxi Huayi Industrial Gas Island project is within the scope of work of the owner, who will plan the use of large cranes based on the conditions of the heavy equipment held by the various general contractors involved in the project. Therefore, the on-time arrival rate of the general contractor’s equipment, as well as the on-time completion of the preparation steps required before lifting the equipment into the installation site, are particularly important. For the ethylene glycol production facility at the Guangxi Hua Yi Industrial Gas Island project operated by Donghua Technology, there are 38 pieces of equipment that are considered large-scale items. Thanks to the careful planning by the project team, 29 of these devices have already been installed on schedule, and progress is being made steadily toward completing the mechanical installation by the end of the year.
