The stripping column of the aromatic hydrocarbons complex plant was manufactured by Ningbo Tianyi, with a total weight of 1,900 tons (column height? Length: ?? meters (the diameter has not yet been determined); it will be lifted in two sections, using an XCMG 4000-ton crawler crane for the main lifting operation and a Sany 1600-ton crawler crane for assisting with the lifting.
Without comparison, there is no hatred. The heaviest equipment lifted before this was the 2# propylene tower of the ethylene plant, which weighed 1,800 tons. Due to the excessive weight of the residue liquid tower, the lifting was not carried out in a holistic manner; moreover, it is evident that the modular installation method involving the use of specialized components was not fully applied – only the pipelines attached to the tower and the railing for the ladder platform were installed, which increases the difficulty of subsequent insulation work.
The insulation work seems to not have enough time left; the scaffolding for this tower should be erected all the way to the top by then.
