Improvement measures for the distillation tower feed inlet

Gentlemen, the feed inlet of the distillation tower originally had a centered design, which often led to blockages during operation. Now that a side feed has been adopted, is there any additional structure needed inside the equipment? It is planned to change it to this format, with port A serving as the feed inlet.
First, it is necessary to identify the cause of the blockage, to determine whether it is due to non-compliance with the process requirements. If it is changed to this form, it will create a rotating flow of the fluid; could such a flow have a negative effect on the distillation process? For example, pits may appear on the liquid level surface, and the disturbed liquid can interfere with the reflux from the upper trays, leading to flooding. It is recommended to start by identifying and resolving the cause of the fault, trying not to alter the original design as much as possible. For large-scale equipment, be sure to follow the proper procedures for such technical upgrades, to avoid taking responsibility in case of any accidents later on; this is for reference only.
