Is the purpose of polishing and grinding the periodic inspection of pressure vessels?
It’s probably some kind of granular material? To prevent dust from accumulating on the walls, right? I was also exposed to a set of equipment before, where the interior of the process towers required polishing, to a mirror-polished finish. The standard for polishing is also based on surface roughness; a comparison table can be found online for reference. If we are talking only about the weld, it is necessary to grind away the patterns left by the welding electrode filler on the weld surface, so that there are no patterns or undercuts.
