1. What is the typical range for the height of the tray overflow weir? I previously read that for atmospheric and pressurized columns, the value of hw is generally between 50 and 80 mm; while for vacuum columns or situations where a lower plate resistance is required, the value is usually around 25 mm. I’m not sure if this is correct I’ve recently learned about towers with a diameter of 5m; it seems that the overflow weir is at least 200mm high. What is the reason for such a high height? 2. Under what circumstances does the height of the overflow weir tend to be set at the designed value? ； When does the height of the overflow weir tend to be low compared to the design value?
