What is the effect of changes in the feed composition on the temperature inside the tower? ? ? What happens when there is a high amount of light components at different temperatures, and what happens when there is a high amount of heavy components at different temperatures? ? ? What are the temperature changes at the top and bottom of the tower? ? ?
With an increase in light components, the liquid level in the top reflux tank rises, the pressure at the top of the tower increases, the liquid level at the bottom of the tower drops, the gas load inside the tower increases, and the overall temperature inside the tower decreases. The opposite is true for components with high reactivity.
