This centrifugal pump uses a double-end face mechanical seal, and the seal housing is fixed by set screws. I would like to know what the correct position of the seal housing is, or what testing methods can be used to determine it. Thank you
Take some photos while you’re repairing it; I’ll mark the area for you. Just relying on descriptions probably won’t work.
You should measure the length of the mechanical seal in its natural state, as well as its length when compressed
