It turns out that many materials for special media are easier to choose these days. However, when it comes to common ordinary media such as cooling water that is similar to clean water – basically non-corrosive and free of solid particles or fibers – or weakly corrosive wastewater – it’s a bit difficult to decide which type of mechanical seal to use. Should I directly choose 1cw-fx or 1cw-fl recommended by the API? How to choose between double-end faces?
Type A seal; a fixed carbon ring 1CW-FX will suffice
