What is this ‘yellow stuff’ pumped out by this acid water pump?

The pump is operating normally; the mechanical seal leaks a little. I’m not sure what this yellow substance is I would like to ask the experts around.
Corrosion by acidic materials, loss of water leading to crystallization of the materials, and oxidation of the materials in air.
This is also the case with us; most water pumps have this problem – is it also due to scale?
