The compressor is used to pressurize acetylene gas; however, each time it is turned on, the sequence is as follows: open the inlet, open the small circulation valve, start the pump, open the outlet, and close the small circulation valve. What is the function of this small circulation valve? ? ? ? The pressure of the imported acetylene is around 2.2 kPa, and it rises to about 59 kPa after pressurization at the outlet. The sequence for operating the centrifugal pump is the same as usual for me, but what is the purpose of that small circulation valve? Are there any other things to pay attention to regarding the compressor?
It is likely to prevent pressure buildup: with insufficient intake air volume and the outlet completely closed, allowing some circulation will avoid such pressure issues.
It seems that this refers to the minimum flow line of a centrifugal pump. Protect the compressor from operating at minimum flow for extended periods

Suddenly, it seems that opening this valve can help offset some of the pressure that builds up after pressure is applied; if it’s not opened, could that cause the valve to get damaged?
