Is it necessary to slightly open the outlet valve before starting the centrifugal pump?
I’ve seen some sources say it should be left slightly open, while others say there’s no need to open it at all; it’s a bit confusing
Previously, the outlet valve was closed completely before starting the centrifugal pump, and it was only after the pressure stabilized that the outlet valve was gradually opened
Slightly open the outlet valve of the high-pressure pump to prevent leakage at the flange on the outlet pipeline; there is no need to open the outlet valve of the low-pressure pump
There is no need to open the outlet valve; normal operating procedures require it to be closed.
Check the operating procedures for the centrifugal pump; the outlet valve should be closed before starting the pump.
The outlet valve can be opened within three minutes.
