A plunger pump is a hydraulically driven, double-acting, positive-displacement pump. Using alpha-alumina as the plunger, which boasts extremely high wear and corrosion resistance, this pump features stable and reliable operation, high output pressure with precise metering, minimal pressure fluctuations, low noise, resistance to acids and alkalis, easy operation and maintenance, and a long service life. When used in conjunction with filter presses, it is the ideal solution for solid-liquid separation of various types. Compared to centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, and rotor pumps, this pump offers the following advantages: lower pressure requirements and power consumption, reduced wear and a longer service life, as well as a function for adjusting the temperature. Its maintenance costs are only one-tenth of those of centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, and rotor pumps, thereby reducing operating costs and electricity consumption for users. This pump is capable of automatically controlling the output flow rate while maintaining a constant set pressure. A pressure value is set based on the actual operating conditions; once the pressure reaches this set value, its rise stops. At this point, the pump’s flow rate can adjust automatically between zero and its maximum value according to actual needs, yet the set pressure remains unchanged. Driven by hydraulics, it features high pressure, fast and precise pressure adjustment, and smooth operation. The α-alumina ceramic plunger exhibits low wear, is easy to operate, install, and maintain, has a low cost of use, and a long service life. Applications: Used for the spray drying of ceramic slurry, high-pressure spray combustion of water-coal slurry, cleaning (decontaminating) water, various suspended liquids, slurry, and the long-distance transportation of sand-containing liquids; it can also be used as feed for filter presses.
