For rapid feeding, which is powered by both pumps simultaneously, the oil volume required for rapid feeding must be determined based on that speed requirement; the flow rate of the pump with the lower flow rate used for normal feeding is then subtracted from this value, resulting in the flow rate of the pump with a higher flow rate. ④When multiple actuating elements operate simultaneously, the pump flow rate should be determined based on the sum of the maximum flow rates of those elements operating at the same time. ⑤If there is an accumulator in the system to replenish the energy for the actuator, the flow rate specification of the pump can be smaller. ⑥For systems in which the speed is always regulated using a throttle valve during operation, when determining the pump’s flow rate, the minimum discharge volume of the relief valve must also be taken into account (usually 3 L/min). After determining the pump’s output flow rate, select a rated flow rate from the product catalog that is equal to or slightly greater than the calculated pump flow rate qp.
