As shown in the diagram, I would like to ask everyone: this is the lubricating oil pump located at the motor bearing of the water ring vacuum pump. I want to know how this oil pump functions
This should use oil as the water ring fluid, right?
Is this the circulating oil pump for the motor’s reducer?
Does the motor drive the gear pump to supply oil?
Your pump is pretty good; we don’t have one like it, which is why the temperature often exceeds the limit. It has had to be repaired several times already. With a pump in place, proper lubrication is ensured, preventing localized high temperatures that could cause damage. It also helps prevent the oil from separating into layers
But I see that the inlet and outlet of this pump are both located below the motor bearing housing; could it be that this pump is used solely for circulating oil and cooling it with circulating water, rather than generating lubrication pressure?
Providing pressure for lubricating oil is just to maintain the flow rate; just as a compressor maintains oil pressure in order to ensure an adequate flow of oil, right?
