35% hydrochloric acid, at room temperature, under normal import pressure, flow rate of 25 m3/h. Can fluorine-lined centrifugal pumps be used?
Fluorinated lining is acceptable. Can a magnetic pump be used as well?
Magnetic pumps should not be able to generate such high pressures. Our family’s magnetic pump can achieve an outlet pressure of up to 8 kilograms.
The outlet pressure is 1.2 MPa – why is it so high? Is the delivery distance very long? How far is ‘far’? Is it not because of the long distance that such a high outlet pressure is required?
A vertical distance of 1 meter counts as 1 meter of head; a horizontal distance of 8 meters also counts as 1 meter of head. For valves, tees, elbows, etc., an average of three of them counts as 1 meter. The required head can be estimated in this way.
If you really can’t make a choice, use a pump with an SIC shaft and a graphite volute~~~ Otherwise, use two pumps in series~~~ There are always more solutions than problems
