The 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" in 2026: Everyone should talk about safety and be able to handle emergencies; identify and address potential risks and hazards. -------------------------------------------------- Recently, Dongfang Electric Group’s Dongfang Boiler Co., Ltd. announced the results of the bidding process for the procurement of domestic molten salt pumps (cold molten salt pumps, hot molten salt pumps, temperature control pumps) for the Luxi project. The winner of the bid was Shanghai Kaiquan Pump Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., a member of the CSPPLAZA platform. The project is equipped with a 120MW/480MWh molten salt energy storage system; it represents a large-scale demonstration project for molten salt heat storage in conjunction with coal-fired power plants in Shandong Province, and it is also a key project aimed at enhancing the flexibility of coal-fired power generation. Through an operation mode that involves storing heat during off-peak times and releasing it during peak times, this project is integrated closely with thermal power units, thereby enhancing their capacity for deep peak regulation and rapid response, and improving the regional utilization level of new energy sources.
