Could everyone please teach me how to write a maintenance worker’s inspection route?
It mainly depends on how many workshops or units you are responsible for. In our case, one maintenance team is assigned to several workshops. The inspection routes focus on large-scale equipment such as compressors, feed pumps, and fans – basically those devices that are crucial from a process perspective or hold high value within the company, and thus require regular inspections. For more complex units, when the operators are not professional, they are unable to carry out proper maintenance; professional mechanics are required.
Maintenance workers generally do not conduct inspections; instead, it is the operators outside the unit who carry out these inspections.
Based on the device’s specifications: serial number, tag number, device level, frequency, and inspection date. For example, the device level can be classified into several categories based on its importance (1, 2, 3 or ABC); the frequency of inspections can be set (once per shift, once a day, once a week, twice a week, etc.), and the inspection day can be specified as a day of the week – for those that require inspections daily, this would be from Monday to Sunday. Then create a table to record the data from inspections, such as bearing temperature, vibration, any signs of leaks, and whether the lubrication level in the bearing housing is normal, etc.
