What are the reasons for a shielded pump to stop operating due to a missing phase while it is in use?
1. Missing phase inside the motor. 2. Power supply phase loss (fuse). 3. Contactor contact issues. 4. Loose connection at the terminal. 5. Internal insulation aging.
It’s mainly an electrical-related issue; the electrical department should investigate the specific cause. It has little to do with the device side.
Observe the TRC table pointer status. Bearing wear causes the center to shift, leading to rotor scraping against the stator; this results in motor current exceeding the rated value and damages the motor windings.
