I would like to know what the purpose of adding a device similar to a water tank to a centrifugal pump is The client uses it to pump water from wells; the wells are 15 meters deep. It consists of an ordinary centrifugal pump along with a water tank, and it can pump water from 6 wells at once. I don’t understand how it’s possible to draw water up in this way
That’s a self-priming tank, right? There’s water inside it; otherwise it can’t draw water up: lol
15 meters deep? ? It’s likely that the distance from the water surface to the top of the tanks won’t exceed 8 meters; otherwise, it will be impossible to draw water up. Of course, this is assuming that these tanks have excellent sealing properties……
The water tank enables self-priming; for this operating condition, a centrifugal pump is the only option available. Why not use a deep well pump?
